Devvy Folk Sessions

Every 1st Sunday evening of the month there’s a folk music and song session in the Devonshire Inn.

We have an easy going atmosphere with anyone and everyone being encouraged to give a song or two, some music, a poem or a yarn….and some people just come to watch and enjoy the evening.

Sometimes we have well known folkies passing through on tour, we often get a crowd from other parts of Devon and sometimes we have mostly locals with that special blend of Dartmoor entertainment.

Come and support the live music in Sticklepath – whether you have a skill, like singing in a chorus or just like to watch.

We welcome everyone and all standards – it’s all for fun and enjoyment in the old pub.

The sessions have been going for many years because it is just such a lovely evening – so do drop in any time after 8pm.
