Sticklepath House Survey

Comments (0)

Sticklepath Heritage Group have started the House Survey and many residents have sent back information on that which they know about their houses. We have taken one specific example and have expanded this to tell a story around the details we received from deeds and documents, and that which had been told to us. Great thanks to Peter Lohr for allowing us to delve into the documents he had, and for his permission to make the house history available to others.

We have made a few more copies of this, and will circulate them around the village, or lend them out for a quiet read at home. Peter would welcome any other contributions that could be made from people’s memories of Brookside Cottages, and how these fit into the village history.
There is a survey form on this website, or we can provide you with a paper copy.
We would like to help others who may have started recording the history of their house, or who are still interested in adding information. If you would like one of the volunteers to visit you for a chat, or to work through documents with you, we would be only too pleased.
