VEHICLE ACTIVATED SIGNS AND VILLAGE GATEWAYS

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

In an attempt to curb the problem of vehicles speeding through the village, the Parish Council has secured funding for a mobile Vehicle Activated Sign. This will be situated at either end of the village for 6-week periods through the year, up to a total of 6 months per year.
The Parish Council urgently needs a team of volunteers to help move and erect the sign. If we have several volunteers, then each person will not need to help each time.
In addition, the Parish Council has funding for Village Gateways which will be permanently erected at each end of the village. They are likely to be ready for installation in September. A small team of volunteers is needed to dig foundation holes and to assist in cementing the Gateways into position.

    I AM VERY GLAD TO HEAR THAT SOME ACTION AT LAST IS BEING TAKEN TO CURB SPEEDING TRAFFIC THROGH THE VILLAGE OF STICKLEPTH, THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR FAR TOO LONG WITH NO ACTION BEING TAKEN
