Sticklepath Annual Parish Meeting – Wed 3 May – 7pm
All parishioners of Sticklepath are invited to attend the Annual Parish Meeting which is being held at the Village Hall on the above date.
Reports will be presented by: Devon County Councillor – James McInnes, West Devon Borough Councillor – William Cann, Dartmoor National Park Representative – Derek Webber, Dartmoor National Park Ranger – Ian Brooker, Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and Sticklepath Parish Council. Other groups in the village are invited to display their activities and to encourage involvement
In particular, the Parish Council will be seeking parishioners’ views on the following topics, some of which have been raised in its recent “Sticklepath 2025” survey:
Purchase of a new bus shelter, a community garden site and a community compost scheme, village “gateway” signs, village logo and the use of weed killer on the highway. In order for Councillors to make decisions affecting the parish as your representatives, we really appreciate and need the input from all who live in the village. Therefore, please come along to the meeting to share your views.
Councillors will be available for you to meet after the meeting and refreshments will be on offer.
