Tea Party to Celebrate the Queens 90th Birthday

Sunday 12th June   3 – 5pm

The nation has been asked to join in with celebrating the Queen’s 90th Birthday by holding street parties.  However as it difficult to hold one in Sticklepath, the Parish Council have decided to host a Tea Party in the Village Hall instead.

If you would like to join us, we would ask that you bring a plate of a savoury nature to share for example a quiche, sausage rolls or even cucumber sandwiches!  Cakes will be provided as will tea, coffee and soft drinks.

We are also looking for volunteers to stand up and entertain with a song, a joke or two or a little ditty. If you are willing, please let one of the Council know or just tell us on the afternoon. There will be no formal programme.

There will also be a ‘Best Crown’ competition split into age groups of 0 – 10 yrs, 11 – 16 yrs and adult. So get creative and make one fit for the queen!

So please come and join us and celebrate our Queen’s 90th birthday.
