Parish Councillor Vacancy
PARISH COUNCILLOR VACANCY – STICKLEPATH PARISH COUNCIL
Your local parish council has a vacancy for a Councillor. No previous experience is necessary, but a keenness to be involved in local council matters and to be part of the decision-making process would be ideal. Sticklepath Parish Council has responsibility for the playing field, dog and litter bins, verge cutting, the newly installed defibrillator, Emergency Plan (flooding, snow etc) and responds to planning applications in the parish. It is also the voice for parishioners – putting forward their views, concerns or complaints to other organisations such as Highways, Devon County Council and Dartmoor National Park.
The Council meets once a month on a Wednesday and our meetings last between 1 and 2 hours.
If you are interested in this rewarding role, please contact the Clerk, Lois Rowlands, for more details: 01837 840367 or email: email@example.com
Or contact our Chairperson – Alison Cruse – 01837 840070, firstname.lastname@example.org
Alternatively feel free to contact one of our Councillors – see the Parish Council page of our village website or consult the list on our noticeboard on the wall of the Taw River Inn.
