ANNUAL PARISH MEETING WHICH IS AT 6PM

STICKLEPATH PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

2.       ELECTION OF CHAIR To elect Chair for the Municipal year 2018-19.

3.       CHAIR’S DECLARATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICE
To receive Chair’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

4.       ELECTION OF VICE CHAIR

5.        DECLARATION OF INTERESTS

6.        APPROVAL OF MINUTES of meeting held 4 April 2018.

7.1 Vehicle Activated Signs – progress report
7.2 Village Gateway Signs – Planning application progress
7.3 Emergency Plan – to confirm handover, salt spreading routes, insurance, grit.
7.4 Billy Green Wild Flower Planting
7.5 Lengthsman – update on clearance of debris in Willey Lane

8.      PLANNING
8.1 0094/18 – Cleave House, Sticklepath – To note listed building consent granted for repairs to wall, ground floor, plasterwork, ceilings, timber, windows, replace render, reinstate iron railings, creation of internal opening.
8.2 0192/18 – 18 Oak Tree Park, Sticklepath – rear extension and dormer window – to consider.

9.      FINANCE
9.1 Balances and Budgetary figures will be tabled.
9.2 To approve and sign the Annual Accounts for the year ending 31st March 2018.
9.3 To approve and sign audit paperwork – (i) Certificate of Exemption, (ii) Annual Governance Statement, (iii) Accounting Statement.
9.4 Period of public rights to inspect accounts – to note period from 4th June to 13th July 2018.
9.5 Consideration of future banking arrangements – including addition of signatories, online banking/payments, change of bank account provider.
9.6 To approve the following payments:
Mrs L Rowlands Salary (May) £162.79
Mrs L Rowlands Return travel to training course – 48 miles x 45p £ 21.60
Mrs L Rowlands Notepad and postage stamps £ 7.86

Soccer Store Goal posts £750.00
DALC Membership fees £100.92
DALC GDPR training – Clerk £48.00
Alison Cruse Defib – gloves and face mask £13.00

10.      MATTERS ARISING
10.1 Playing Field – to approve purchase of new 5-a-side goal posts at a cost of £750.
10.2 Councillor Vacancies – continue to advertise or leave until parish council elections in 2019.
10.3 Insurance renewal – to confirm renewal due 1 June 2018 and to agree insurer.
10.4 General Data Protection Regulations – report on training by Clerk
10.5 Defibrillator – to consider arrangements for purchase of consumables and to discuss expenditure for financial year, including training.

11.      CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED/DATES TO NOTE
Councils Together around Okehampton – Coffee morning to promote local democracy – Saturday 19 May – 10am to 12.30pm, Charter Hall
