What do you do with lids, tops and caps? If you find yourself asking “Are they recyclable?”, “Which bin do they go in?” and “Am I doing it right?” then read on.
These common questions now have a simple answer – YES! They are all recyclable! Simply give the bottle or jar a rinse, squash plastic bottles, put the top back on and recycle as you normally would – even if it’s a metal lid on a glass jar.
If you notice any problems on the highway, such as potholes, faulty street lights, overgrowing vegetation or other hazards, the County Council have a dedicated “Report a problem” page on their website.
Hopefully, the more residents who report a problem, the greater the likelihood of it being repaired.
All residents of Sticklepath are invited to attend the Annual Parish Meeting which is being held at the Village Hall on the above date.
Reports will be presented from: James McInnes – Devon County Councillor; William Cann – West Devon Borough Councillor; Derek Webber – Dartmoor National Park Representative; Ian Brooker – Dartmoor National Park Ranger; Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, National Trust – Finch Foundry and Sticklepath Parish Council. Other groups in the village are invited to display their activities and …Read more
