So in keeping with that activity we found a couple of photos in our archive from 1953 to commemorate the Coronation. Can anyone spot any faces?

We have organised a couple of trips. One in August to the Plymouth Gin Distillery for a guided tour and hopefully some tasting! Followed by a blue coat tour of the Barbican and supper at the Riverside Inn in Bovey Tracey. In September a group of members will be visiting the Met Office in Exeter. We have had a varied set of speakers so far in 2013 and all have been good.

This year the charities we are supporting is Dartmoor Rescue. We always support a local charity which the members vote for out of a shortlist of three.

Guests are always welcome to our meetings for a small charge of £3. Likewise new members will always have a friendly reception.
